My least favorite would have to be cartographer. Still working on it, but very very slowly, and not sure I will ever finish it since you can't get into the mission areas of Tyria without actually doing the missions for the most part, and the PvP areas in Cantha and Elona are included in the cartography. I suck at all forms of PvP, and have no plans to go into JQ or FA and hurt the team I am assigned to because I am very bad at it, and am only there to map it.

I hate the "Unlucky" title.
I'm very unlucky. I get r13's out of endboss chests. I break lockpicks so often I've stopped buying them. I get lousy drops. My ex-wife had already decided she was gonna leave me when I was buying us a house, and let me do it anyway. I only get like 1 ecto per full clear of UW, when all my friends (and the henchies!) all get like 5. I've never identified a shield with a +30 handle, and I farmed 2x characters 0-max asuran title on raptors.
<--- totally unlucky.
But I don't want to have to spend 10000000000 gold on tickets and stand afk for days just to get the title!
(i'd probably end up maxxing the lucky title if i tried, anyway... i'm that unlucky)

cartography was a biiatch, skill capping tyria was a biiatch...but done with GWAMM
now grinding treasure hunter, which is helping unlucky/lucky, but unlucky more! at 6k+ chests and 350k unlucky - which should be done by about 8k chests or so. ID'ing the chest drops is helping, but I think I'll have to end up buying some unid golds toward the end to make up for all the ones I sold when I started c/r'ing
PvP titles are by far the hardest imo, just given the sheer amount of time necessary to play toward them (except for the ones obtained through gimmick/exploits)

Cartographer.
None of my 3 GWAMMs have this shitty title....because apparently using Texmod to get cartographer is very difficult!

I strongly dislike the Luxon/Kurzick titles. Not because of the grind involved, but the whole lux/Kurz thing is annoying to me. Mainly it's the "Oh, you've got too much of the wrong kind of faction, get lost." crap from NPCs that I find ridiculous.

All four of mine have that title. First two did not use TexMod because of a new invention called choice. Basically, just because you can use/do something does not mean you have to use/do it.

Me too. OK, hate is probably the wrong word, it's more like I don't have any regard for them, one way or another.
I got Cartographer (non-maxed) because I simply like to explore and see everything. And I won't max it because having to scrape is a chore.
I won't even get titles that are within reach (only "minor" grinding). There's absolutely no meaning in most of them, unless it holds some personal meaning for each player, and for me they don't.
Maybe some day I'll suddenly see I have aquired Seeker of Wisdom and some other first tier titles. But I most likely won't display them.
Pretty much the only one I display is Cartographer because it represents something I enjoyed doing. And the titles that have effects, like the Norn track, because that's how they were meant to be used, it's sinergy with the game as you progress through it.

I can't speak for hated title but for me, the only title I feel was worth something was cartographer, or at least tyrian catographer as I did it way back, before texmod or even any decent 100% maps. Sure it was a bit grindy scraping those edges but for a ranger it felt like an in-character title.
I'd probably say wisdom/treasure for worst as they are never ending.

I hate every title that you can buy basically. Specifically things like the luck and drunkard style titles.
I don't hate the cartographer titles as such but I do hate the whole wall hugging crap and not being able to tell if an area has been cleared without photoshop or something, so I just didn't bother to finish them in the end.
And I also hate that you can have both the kurzick and luxon titles. That made factions fail from the start.

How did you manage that? On my newest Warrior I have like five prestige armor sets and several "prestige" weapon sets while still saving or using almost everything I can have use for (Mats, Black/White dyes etc etc) and still have several hundred plats in the chest without any farming nor selling to players. And I haven't even finished LMotN, Tyrian Vanq/Guardian or the EotN rep based titles. You earn a lot by just playing the game, if you really yearn for some extra gold you can always do the Zaishen quests. An extra plat or two adds up.
OT: Old LDoA was horrifying. Other then that Tyrian skill hunter is pretty awful with the random spawns and mostly useless skills. Maxing Lucky/Unlucky isn't easy either.

Titles I like: Those that provide an in game buff, even if they're a long go to finish, they do more than just work towards GWAMM:
That means
Lightbringer
Norn
Asura
Deldrimor
Ebon Vanguard
Wisdom (though I think the requirements are very steep)
Treasure Hunter (again, I think the requirements are very steep)
Lucky (again, requirements too steep, I understand it's account wide but, so are your lockpicks, it's not like you're getting a ton of lockpicks on each character). Most people grind this one doing nine rings while afk anyway, is that really what Anet wants? Just people spending hundreds of plat on tokens and going afk in nine rings? Anyway, still like the title just don't like the progression of it.
I also like account based titles, like luxon/kurzick (since it allows you to get skills on alts), and though I don't really pvp so I don't have these titles, the zaishen and hero titles because they give an emote.
I'm half and half on sunspear rank.. I like it since it boosts some skills and is a part of the story in nightfall, but I just wish zaishen quests involving sunspear promotion points gave a little more. The last rank between 7 and 8 is kind of a jump and you're only getting like 500 promotion points from a zmission, 750 for a zvanquish? That's more of a thing on the zaishen quests than the title itself though.
Titles I don't like:
Consumable titles (just because they're character based and not account, it makes me not want to use buff giving sweets on alts even though it's beneficial to, because I'm robbing my main character of sweet tooth points, actually, I could care less about drunkard and party animal, since it doesn't hurt me to hoarde all those items on 1 character.. just sweet tooth needs changed to account wide)
Skill hunter titles, again just because they're character based. I really don't want to get all the secondary profession elite skills I'll never use on the same character. The only reason to get primary attribute skills for secondary professions is for these stupid titles, and these titles do nothing for you except GWAMM progress. If it were account wide, you could just get the elites you were actually going to use. It's just a gold sink/time sink (or larger gold sink if you use tomes). Another suggestion I could make to improve it: Earning the title gets your character a 50% discount on signets of capture at skill trainers for campaigns you have the title in.
I think that's about it, I'm not too concerned either way with the pvp titles maybe they could add emotes to gladiator/codex.. not concerned with the protector/guardian, LDoA (since they made a way for you to do it aside from Death leveling, I've been working on a LDoA myself, too bad it's not account wide though), cartographer/vanquisher are all fine.

I hate these too, and for the same reason.
My favorite titles are the lucky/treasure hunter ones. I like how they have a tangible reward for working on the titles, I just wish the requirement weren't so steep. The steeper the requirement, the grindier a title becomes.

Allegiance (as a PvE player). The fact that it's point scaled for career PvP play yet has PvE skills that scale as if it's a PvE title is annoying. Overall, I just don't like how Factions works, period, but the title is awful and promotes grind.
Second choice would be Lightbringer. First pass through Nightfall they give you so little and you can easily not have the skills for missions. Overall NF is just so bloody stingy with giving you points for work and too often the shrines give you bounties for things you're not as likely to encounter in your path. I'm so sick of carving through enemies without a bounty just to get to the right shrine. Don't know why they decided to leave it as-is when they fixed it in GWEN.
